| I spend a lot of time every month sending reports to all my Cost Center managers. Is there a way to do this automatically? |
Yes! VeraSMART EZ-Burst – included with your call accounting software – lets users automatically create and schedule reports. Your reports are sectioned off into individual sub-reports by cost center or department. Then the appropriate sections are sent out automatically according to your selected EZ-Burst distribution option. Your cost center managers will only receive reports for their own employees.

| Can Windows Updates or network policies cause my software to stop working? |
Typically, Windows Updates should not cause the product to stop working; however, you should not upgrade to a new Windows version if it has not been certified for the product. Our current product (VeraSMART 9.1) works with these versions:
- Windows XP Professional + SP3 (x86 only)
- Windows Vista Ultimate, Business, or Enterprise + SP2 (x86 or x64)
- Windows Server 2003 Standard or Enterprise + SP2 (x86 or x64)
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard or Enterprise + SP2 (x86 or x64)
- Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, or Enterprise (x86 or x64)
- Windows Server 2008 Standard or Enterprise + SP2 (x86 or x64)
- Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard or Enterprise + SP2 (x64 only)
Some network policies, such as enabling the local Windows Firewall on the VeraSMART server, can affect operations. See our Product Note: Windows Firewall Issues in the download center of our Customer Portal.

How do I find out what my CDR source reports as "trunks" and how do I set them
up properly? |
The system automatically adds trunks to the database whenever they appear in use in a call record coming from a switch/CDR source. These will appear under the [Unassigned] trunk group via the Trunks list view. Use this list to help you regroup trunks according to the telephone service provided (which will have associated rate plans for charging its use).
NOTE: Calls will not be costed properly when trunks are added automatically by the system. To correct this problem after the fact: (1) Use the Rate Plans function to set up the correct costing. (2) Use the Trunk Groups function to associate the appropriate rate plan & then move unassigned trunks to the proper trunk group. (3) Run the Reprocess Calls function for the period when trunks were mismatched.
