What is the database capacity for my call accounting software?

Your system uses either an 'embedded' database automatically installed with the product or Microsoft SQL Server pre-installed on the local PC or on a remote database server.

• The 'embedded' database is Microsoft SQL Server Express. It is limited to 4 GB of data in the current database; this represents between 6 and 9 million call records. There are also performance limitations regarding how the database utilizes such resources as memory and multiple processors.

• SQL Server, on the other hand, has no limits other than the capacity of the disk drive where the system data is located. SQL Server also results in enhanced performance, as it can handle more than 1 GB of RAM and multiple processors.

Can I get information on unanswered and abandoned calls, as well as statistics on ring time and queue time?

Yes! The following reports provide information on incoming calls (if reported by the switch/CDR source):

• The Incoming Traffic Analysis Report provides statistics (count, percentages, and average ring times) of answered and unanswered calls for the selected criteria.
• The Ring Time Analysis Report provides the count and percentages of answered and unanswered calls, distributed over ring time ranges for the selected criteria.
• The Call Search Report can be customized with filters on incoming calls that were answered or unanswered and/or by a range of ring and/or queue times. Report output can include abandoned & unanswered flags, as well as queue time and ring time information.
